Malaysia - Award of Cendramas PSC

Yesterday, we saw a letter of award granted to MedcoEnergi, EnQuest and Dialog for the Cendramas PSC in Malaysia. The Cendramas PSC was not one of the blocks offered in either the 2025 or 2026 bid rounds, rather it is the legacy PM-304 asset that is currently operated by Petrofac.

In this article, I will take a look at the history of the block and discuss the motivation of the companies.
