Malaysia M&A – INPEX to acquire TotalEnergies’ interest in Block 2E

On 2 July 2026, TotalEnergies announced that it has agreed to sell its 85% interest in Block 2E offshore Malaysia to INPEX for US$350 million. The block interest represents a net 8.5% interest in the Marjoram gas field, which is currently under development.
